Volunteer
Community is everything.
Volunteers are the heart and soul of Queer Keys. We started as a group of volunteers, and the impetus to give time and energy to hold each other up is still the core of our organization.
We rely on volunteers to:
staff the welcome desk at our community center
table at outreach events to spread the word
facilitate our programs and groups
help us throw public events and fundraisers
offer specialized skills to help us grow

All Queer Keys volunteers attend a 2 hour orientation session before getting started. At this session, volunteers will learn:

Volunteer opportunities and what they entail
Time for questions and answers will be available at the end of the orientation. After orientation, volunteers can start signing up for shifts and events that they're interested in.
Once you fill out our VOLUNTEER INTEREST FORM, you will receive an email inviting to sign up for an upcoming orientation. Most of our volunteer positions require minimal personal information. However, some positions, particularly any volunteer positions working directly with youth, will require a background check.
